Scott and Butch have done it again! The Byerly Monarch is the newestaddition to the family. With input from Robby, Ross, and Kyle, Butchset out to build his best shape yet. Beginning with a mellow blended3-stage rocker and shorter 9 molded fins, this shape is faster andreleases off the wake quicker than previous Byerly models. New moldedfootbed contours keep the board rigid in the center to maintain therocker line for consistent pop. The board then blends into a lean tipand tail for maximum flex and snap off the wake and when initiatingedges. In addition to the new shape, the Monarch also features fullymachined Atomic Core. This material is lighter, snappier, and strongerthan traditional foam core boards.
